About the Competence Center MERH

Our Initiative

The Competence Center Medicine - Ethics - Law Helvetiae of the University of Zurich bundles existing university competencies and contributes to the further development of existing knowledge by promoting interdisciplinary and interfaculty research and cooperation, as well as developing cooperation with other non-university enterprises and institutions and further expanding existing partnerships.

Collaboration with the PhD Program Biomedical Ethics and Law

The MERH Competence Center works closely with the doctoral program Biomedical Ethics and Law of the Faculty of Law UZH. The cooperation includes, among other things, regular joint events on current topics in medicine, law and ethics.
